 Our programs serve youth and young adults of Maui County by providing meaningful opportunities to learn positive values and life skills. To help them achieve self respect, self confidence and self sufficiency. By doing this they become productive citizens of our community and the world at large.AmeriCorps - designed for young adults to volunteer in environmental work, receive training, a living allowance, and education award. Underage Drinking Prevention Program - designed to delay the age when youth begin drinking and to reduce use among young people who have tried alcohol. Ka Wili Pu (dropout prevention) Program - encourage youth to stay in school and advance to the next grade level in efforts to graduate with a diploma. |

Maui County Youth Services Program
Is designed to promote healthy masculinity development for boys and young men from ages 12 to 18. Boys Council focuses on boys’ natural strengths and broadens their understanding about being male in today’s world. It challenges myths about how to be a “real boy” or “real man”. The program promotes valuable relationships with peers and adult facilitators, and will increase boys’ emotional, social, and cultural literacy. Also strives to build security and acceptance in boys’ self-expression. Girls Circle Project Is designed to supports girls’ growth and development, to help encourage and motivate 12 to 18- year-old girls to make the most of their lives. The program strives to encourage girls to hold on to their voices, and stay true to themselves, enhance judgment and critical thinking skills for wise and healthy choices, and to improve their self esteem. |
Designed for youth 6th grade-18 years old who will voluntarily commit with a positive attitude to gain wisdom and guidance. The program will assist youth with life/job skills and will provide work experience, entrepreneurial training, outdoor experiential education, outdoor recreational activities, service learning and cultural enrichment.
